RMIT Introduction to Interpreting Skill Set course Information Session

Do you have work experience as an interpreter? Are you interested in sitting the NAATI Certified Provisional Interpreter test or applying for the NAATI Recognised Practising Interpreter credential?

2M Language Services is hosting an in-person information session on 26 June from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm with Ya-Ping Kuo, Program Coordinator at RMIT University and Francesca Cimarelli, MBA, Senior Operations Manager at NAATI for students interested in learning more about the RMIT Introduction to Interpreting Skill Set course. The Victorian Government is offering scholarships to eligible students who are accepted into the program, awarding up to $2,250 to cover program fees.

The information session is available to candidates who:

  • Speak English and one of the following languages: Albanian, Bangla, Chichewa, Hakha Chin, Hakka Chinese, Hazaragi, Hmong, Kirundi, Kurdish Kurmanji, Lingala, Macedonian, Nuer, Pashto, Rohingya and Ukrainian.
  • Reside in Victoria.
  • Are Australian citizens or permanent residents (consideration will be given to people seeking asylum).
