
The Translating and Interpreting Service (TIS National) is provided by the Department of Home Affairs. For more than 50 years, TIS National has connected government, business and communities through the delivery of language services.
In 2025, TIS National are pleased to announce the introduction of a translation service. These services will include document translation for Home Affairs and other Commonwealth agencies.
TIS are pleased to advise they are now accepting applications from suitably qualified or experienced translators in all languages to join their panel.
To apply to the TIS National panel, translators must: be an Australian citizen or permanent resident or a New Zealand citizen residing in Australia
hold the required NAATI certification for your language (where available)
be 18 years of age or older.
