The 2023 Legal Interpreting Symposium is almost upon us, co-hosted by the Translation and Interpreting Group, School of Humanities & Languages, UNSW Arts, Design & Architecture, and the Northern Territory Government Aboriginal Interpreter Service (AIS). This year’s program shines a spotlight on court interpreting in First Nations languages in NT and WA.
NAATI’s own Lauren Campbell (Project Officer – Indigenous Interpreting Project) will also be taking part in the discussion panel, sharing insights on the NAATI Indigenous Interpreting project and the crucial role NAATI plays in certifying Aboriginal language interpreters.
