Sight translation is something all interpreters are familiar with but how it is taught and used in the community interpreting context is still largely unknown to researchers.
Dae Young Kim with his supervisors Uldis Ozolins and Mustapha Taibi from Western Sydney University are conducting a research project on “Sight translation as an integral component of effective community interpreter training in the Australian context “
If you decide to participate, you will be asked to answer questions in an online survey that will take approximately between 10 and 18 minutes to complete.
There are three separate links for students, teachers and interpreters. Please select the link relevant to you. If you are a teacher and a practitioner, you are strongly encouraged to participate in both surveys.
Please note that the deadline for the survey is 15 May 2021.
Participating in this survey qualifies for 10 PD points under category 2.15.
