Monash University are holding an Ethics for Interpreters and Ethics for Translators online professional development short course.
Ethics for Interpreters
The online PD workshop examines the ethical complexities of the interpreter’s work in relation to the AUSIT Code of Ethics, as well as the ASLIA Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct. The workshop analyses ethical concepts, their practical application to interpreting work, and best practice for interpreters in ethically challenging scenarios.
Designed to be completed on your own time, the course includes presentations from leading academics and professionals in the field, short online quizzes, real-life simulated podcasts, short self-reflection and online discussions with your peers.
